You will need a mixing bowl, wooden spoon or spatula, & 30 mini muffin cups. If you prefer, you can spread the mixture into a pan, and cut into bars. The smaller "bites" are just enough to have a quick taste!

Cooking Time

No Cooking Needed! Just place in the refrigerator.


30 Bite Sized Treats


1 cup quick-cook gluten free oats

1 tbsp. ground golden flaxseed

1/3 cup dried tart cherries

1/2 cup all-natural peanut butter

3 tbsp. honey

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract


Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.

Scoop a small ball and place into mini muffin cups. (Use seasonal festive cups or liners to make it a fun snack.) Refrigerate for 2 hours. Enjoy!

If you prefer to make bars, spread the mixture in a pan and refrigeratefor 2 hours. Slice and enjoy! Return uneaten bites or bars to the refrigeratorfor storage.



Customize this recipe to accommodate allergies/intolerances. Substitutenatural pure maple syrup or agave instead of honey. In place of dried fruit,chop a berry or other fresh fruit instead of dried fruit. Use almond butterinstead of peanut butter. Also pulse macadamia nuts in the food processor andadd them for another protein punch!
